The Valdemarpils Training Center opened in 1995 and presently has three courses available.  They include the Discipleship Training School, which runs one to two times a year, and the Bible Core Course & Introduction to Biblical Counseling School every other year.

Vision

As this campus develops, we desire for hundreds of students from Latvia, surrounding nations and beyond to be trained every year. We want to be a part of their education as God directs them into every part of society in all nations.

At other YWAM locations in Latvia there are ministries such as Youth Ministry, King’s Kids, Prison Ministry, NIKO, Mercy Ministry, and Hospitality as we host outreach teams that come from many different nations.

Schools

All of our schools are bi-lingual (English/Latvian). During winter, spring and summer we run different short-term seminars on worship, counseling, Bible study, worldview, and on other topics. We currently run the following schools:

DTS (Discipleship Training School), FCM (Foundations for Counseling Ministry School) and BCC (Bible Core Course).

University of the Nations Training programs we are in process of developing are the following:

TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages)

PCYM (Principles of Children and Youth Ministry)

HIS (Humanities and International Studies)
